Wonderful winter day in Upper Allgäu

There is finally fresh snow in the Upper Allgaeu region – shortly before the year change and just in time for the Christmas holidays … on a cold and sunny winter morning it is simply fun to be outdoors with 20-50 cm of powder snow.

I went to a few places that provide beautiful views of the Illertal in the Upper Allgäu, left my car and walked with snowshoes through the wonderful snow-covered nature and looked for picturesque panorama scenes.

Actually I wanted to be on the way the whole day – but already in the early afternoon it got cloudy again, the snow became partly mushy …

Until then I already had some pictures in the box, the day had been worth it photographically and it was also relaxing! The images speak for themselves – and are of course available with a royalty-free license via my image archive.
